Representative Bio
Jeffrey Mandler, AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, has more than 20 years of experience in real estate law, finance and property taxation. His practice includes representation of lenders, developers and property managers in a wide range of transactions. His real estate practice keeps him involved in complex negotiations, purchase and sales transactions, loans and title insurance.
Mr. Mandler has also earned a reputation for success in challenging the valuation of real estate and personal property tax assessments on commercial properties throughout Florida. His credentials have led to the firm's selection as the sole Florida member of the American Property Tax Counsel (APTC), an affiliation of independent law firms that are the leading providers of property tax services in their respective states. Mr. Mandler's other memberships include the Institute of Property Taxation, Florida Association of Property Tax Professionals, The Florida Bar Tax Aspects of Real Property Law Committee and the American Bar Association Real Property Tax Committee.
Mr. Mandler graduated from Trinity College in 1977 with a B.A. degree and from the University of Miami School of Law in 1980 with a J.D.
A Miami native who speaks Spanish, Mr. Mandler co-chairs the Miami-Dade County Civil Rights Committee of the Anti-Defamation League and provides pro bono counsel to Habitat for Humanity.

Representative Bio
Julie Schwartz concentrates her practice in all aspects of ad valorem property taxation, representing property owners before the Value Adjustment Board and in Circuit Court appeals throughout Florida. She has extensive experience in valuation appeals for many types of property, including retail centers, office properties, hospitality, industrial, multifamily, hotel condominium, residential condominium, vacant land and tangible personal property.
In addition to valuation issues, Ms. Schwartz specializes in property tax exemption and classification issues. These include agricultural classifications, educational exemptions for private and charter schools, charitable exemptions for non-profit entities including hospitals, taxation of low income housing and homestead exemptions.
