Brant D. Kahler is a member attorney at BrownWinick, practicing primarily in the area of litigation. Brant has represented clients in virtually all litigation contexts, including before state and federal administrative agencies, state and federal district courts, state and federal appellate courts, mediation and arbitration. Brant is licensed to appear before district and appellate courts in the State of Iowa, the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Brant has handled cases all over the State of Iowa and the surrounding states, including Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota. Sean Moore is a member attorney at BrownWinick and currently serves as the Managing Partner of the firm’s Executive Committee. Sean practices corporate litigation law. He has extensive experience defending agriculture-based clients, and also has an extensive practice litigating contract disputes involving agriculture-based industries.
Sean has also represented bank and finance companies on troubled loans, and also helped to protect employers from corporate raiding, misappropriation of trade secrets, and employee breaches of fiduciary duties and non-compete agreements.
In addition to his litigation experience, Sean regularly provides day-to-day advice to clients on a wide array of litigation related issues, including how to respond to complaints from neighboring landowners, interpreting arbitration agreements and determining our clients’ rights and responsibilities under existing contracts.
