Representative Bio
Michael Miller, an attorney at Spencer Fane LLP, represents national as well as local companies in appealing property taxes on their Colorado real estate holdings. He and his team in the recent appraisal cycles achieved valuation reductions of over $100,000,000 including appeals for 2 big box properties and 2 senior living facilities tried before the Colorado Board of Assessment Appeals. He has earned a reputation of vigorously representing his clients in their commercial property tax appeals.
Mr. Miller’s property tax appeals practice is enhanced by his extensive real estate background. , His practice has included complex development transactions, commercial leasing, affordable housing projects, construction and permanent financing. He also represents a local suburb as their special real estate counsel in the development of their major downtown commercial center and development of a 100 acre parcel which they own outside of their city.
Mr. Miller is a native of Denver. He graduated cum laude from the University of Colorado and went on to graduate cum laude from Columbia University, designated as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.

Mr. Kramer has concentrated his legal career in the fields of property tax, real estate leasing, commercial lending, condemnation, landlord/tenant disputes, representation of associations and commercial litigation. Mr. Kramer has written several articles dealing with property tax issues and has lectured to and for a variety of organizations on property tax issues.
Mr. Kramer is a member of the American Property Tax Counsel, the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association. While in law school, he served on the Barrister's Cup Moot Court Team and the University of Denver College of Law's National Moot Court Team and Jessup International Moot Court Team.
Mr. Kramer was born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 14, 1961. He was the recipient of a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado in 1983 and then a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver in 1987, the same year that he was admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado.
